Today I went to lunch with an old friend from my old law firm. We ate at my cousin J.B.'s restaurant - The Wine Bistro. It was great to see him and to bring a new patron to his restaurant. I hope she brings him lots of business and invites her co-workers. Lunch was delicious and he gifted us with a special dessert. That was nice and so was reconnecting with an old friend.
When I came home Ali and I drew with sidewalk chalk outside, played some hopscotch, and cuddled. The time I'm spending with her feels so dear.
